This is propably the last version of kbootsplash 0.4 done as a compromise.
I plan to start the development of version 0.5 next month.
It is very difficult to create a program than supports all the available distributions.
While all distributions treat the bootsplash in a different way I need more help in developing and testing.
kcmkbootsplash is a trial to include kbootsplah into kde controlcentre.
Kbootsplash is used for installing new bootsplash themes and switching installed themes. So there won't be many changes in future versions.
This year will be a new project created which has the the function of a designer. It allows everybody to create new bootsplash themes.
